Project Breakdown
How our small steps are going to make big change
Don't Waste, Donate
Reducing clothing waste in our local community
To reduce waste and empower others, Don’t Waste, Donate collects donated clothes, which are then upcycled by women involved in charity groups to develop their skills which can be used to improve their own lives. These upcycled clothes are then sold, with profit from the sales re-invested into Enactus.

International Zero Waste
During the end of each academic year or during placement years abroad, students tend to throw away their usable household items or living essentials when they leave Plymouth.
Using an app, our aim is to make sure that non of these items end up as waste, by collecting and selling them off to a new batch of students coming to Plymouth University next year at low prices or otherwise donate it for charitable purposes.
Food Lottery
Reducing food waste
The Food Lottery is an Enactus project aiming to reduce food waste in Plymouth by selling on end of day stock which has been cooked and is still fit for consumption on at heavily discounted prices. Therefore, we are reducing food waste and providing affordable food for those who would not otherwise be able to afford it at full price.
